Anyone else excited for this?

If you read the Sailor Moon manga and hated the anime, you'll love this. This is akin to FMA and FMA: Brotherhood. SMC is gonna be the Brotherhood to the original Sailor Moon.

I personally have never had the pleasure of reading the manga version of Sailor Moon; however, I can't say that I hated the Anime. I grew up with Sailor Moon being my introductory Anime and so i can't really hate on it. But this new one that you have brought to my attention sounds fascinating and I would like to take a look at it when it is finally released

As long as they don't redo Sailormoon: Stars and make it known. I know guys turning into girls isn't anything new when it comes to Japan but come on this is Sailormoon we're talking about.

I didn't even get to finish Sailor Moon Stars.

The Sailor Stars are canon, Nate. They're in the manga too so they will likely show up.

I never hated the old anime either.

I never found anything wrong with Sailor Moon: Stars. I always felt that everyone's hate on it was uncalled for. According to the canon info they were originally female and had used a form of magic to take on a male form as they felt that it would be more attractive to the "princess" they were looking for

Yep, pretty much. Even if that wasn't the case, the sailor stars were great(even if their attacks were silly. Gentle uterus? wut?)
